Wasn’t the Blog Share fun? I had the best time reading everyone’s extra-candid posts yesterday and obsessively checking the comments on the site that so graciously hosted my own. Did anyone figure out which one was mine? I’m curious – because I shared mine with another Blog Share participant and she thought y’all would figure it out. Of course, in keeping with the Rules of Blog Share Participation, I can neither confirm nor deny your guesses. (Alright, fine, there are no official Rules, but still. They are unspoken but sacred.)
I’m taking a break from the Encyclopedia of Me today to do some good old-fashioned rambling. Besides, E is a hard letter. And what better way to ramble than in bullet points?
- I have another random day off today. Thus, I am still in my pajamas at 9:23 a.m., snuggled up on the couch with an old comforter over me. Biscuit and Alex are sleeping next to me, and Chester is enjoying a rawhide bone on the floor. The really nice thing about this morning, though, is that my mom is sleeping downstairs in the guest room right now! She’s here for a visit, and I just love having her in the same state, let alone the same HOUSE, as me. We were all up late last night because her flight was delayed and then we drank wine and ate the (delicious, if I say so myself) pork tenderloin and scalloped potatoes that I had waiting for her arrival. Mmmm.
- One of my candidates received and accepted an offer from a large law firm in town. Woo!
- Chester had his first day of “school” (read: obedience class) two nights ago. The instructor pronounced him both gorgeous and brilliant, and I completely agree with her. He is so damn cute when he’s working on his lessons, it breaks my heart.
- The problem, for me, with the BlogShare is that I now have added all the participants onto my list of blogs to read. Since I don’t even have time to read the blogs that I have read for more than a year now, this is a problem.
- We are going shopping at the new outlet mall today! Keep fingers crossed that we find loads of fabulous baby stuff for my niece and nephew.
And that, my dearies, is all for me for the day. Have a lovely one!
There wasn’t one that jumped out as being yours. There are 3 – Maybe 4 – that I think I recognized without putting much thought into it.
Enjoy random day off!
I know, I can’t even keep up with the blogs I have in my blogroll, let alone trying to find some new ones on the NaBlo Randomizer thingy. Now I have all these other cool ones on my list! Ahhh!
I couldn’t figure out any of the real authors, and I had a great time reading them. Even though I had the last two days off, I want to have today off, too.
New outlet mall! I am so jealous. I miss the old outlet malls. I know how awesome a long awaited visit from the mom can be. I am so thrilled you get the extra time to spend with her with the flight delay!
i found one of the blog share blogs very randomly, and because of this, i have found another 8 blogs that i need to read!
including yours. hi there
I found one of the BlogShare blogs very randomly, and now I’m hooked on all of them.
Hence, I am here. And love your blog.
Hi
I’m glad you enjoyed the blog share!
Have fun with your mom!
I LOVED the blog share entries, and wouldn’t have known about it if not for you. I was thinking it would be easy to spot some, if you were a regular reader, but I can’t say I know which one was yours.
Woohoo on placing a candidate! I’m going to have to come down to Philadelphia when I get back from Paris and take you to lunch so that I can get the full scoop on recruiting.
I would have loved to have a day off, but not if I had to spend it with my mother in my house. (Sorry; have fun with yours!!)
Thanks for taking part in the blog swap. I wouldn’t have made my way over here if you hadn’t.
nope, haven’t found yours yet, although I think I recognised another 3. But whoo! I wish I knew who posted here so I could go read their entire archives! How about an instant anonymous poll…who all has had sex on a business trip? with a client? with two clients at the same time??
Great advice, Clearly explained and easy to follow. Thank you
