Okay, so I apologize for the crazy cranky lady who took over my body and soul yesterday and posted that whiney crap. I got an excellent night of sleep last night and am feeling worlds better today. I also finally admitted that my cold had moved into my sinuses, so I went to the doctor today and got some antibiotics so that I will be in tip-top shape for all of the fun events I have planned for next week (in chronological order: BYO Club, my birthday, and my trip to Denver to see my sister and my favorite babies – woo!).
You know what else helps my mood? The doctor that I saw today is the same guy I went to for my physical and ended up weeping in his office over standing on his scale and seeing such a ginormous number. When I first arrived, the nurse did the whole weighing and blood-pressure-taking thing, and it was SO FREAKING AWESOME to see the number on the scale, and even more awesome when my doctor walked in and immediately said, “So! How did you lose the ten pounds??”
Yep, folks, I am officially at ten pounds lost. WOO! (Now, only 50 more to go.)
And that’s really about it for me, since i still have a billion things to do before I can leave this evening. So, tell me what you have planned for the weekend, okay? My only plan is to read a lot, clean up a bit, and take Chester to the park for a nice long hike with his girlfriend Laika and Laika’s mom Alice.
Oh, and PS – I think it’s really weird that a lot of you also had bad dreams this week. There must be something going around!
Ten pounds! That is great! Congratulations!
WOO!
I second what Megan said. Well done, my friend.
Fantastic accomplishment!!
That is so great. It gets really fun when you start to see real results. Congrats!
Way to go!
Ooops! Also meant to say, happy coming up birthday!
Congrats! Keep up the good work!
Yay for trips to Denver! And yay for 10 pounds!
Yay for losing ten pounds! Great start!
Enjoy your trip!
Hooray about the 10 lbs!
Yes, something’s goign around STILL – the other night I dreamed one of the attorneys I work for did someting to really piss me off, and then my son took him aside and broke his nose. I was scared I’d get fired. When I told my son about the dream, he said, “That’s funny, becuase that probably could happen.” Aw, nice to know I’ve got someone who’d break the noses of people who piss me off, but please dont get me fired!
Yay for the 10 pounds! That’s awesome!
